the things we take for granted

i have been sick for the last four days i can't believe how much we take for granted. i was so cold and achy i could hardly stand it i wanted to just crawl in a hole. the little every day things that i usually do i was not able to do like laundry dishes make dinner for my family sweep the floor. i have to say that i am so very grateful for mike i think that i have the best husband in the world he has just kind of taken over some of those things for me. he would come home from work and make dinner and then do the days worth of dishes. i am thankful to say that i am starting to feel better cause the laundry is pilling up and the floor need some attention.

lifes little miracles

so i guess i should take a minute and write about the birth of nixon the third member of our wounderful family. i actually was on my due date which was a huge shock cuz i never have it was about 10:30 at night when the contractions started to happen and i didn't believe it was real but by 1:00 in the morining i knew some thing was up so i called Kathy oler to come over with the other kids. (thanks kathy) we went to the hospital and i was dialated to a 5 or 6 that was awsome. but he still took his sweet little time to get here. he was born on sept. 12 at 7:30 in the morning we were so excited.
the rest of the story is so interesting we called cole and amanda to tell them and amanda went into labour about 8:00 and she ended up having her baby max around 12:30 so they were born on the same day and they weighed the exact same 7lbs 8oz. and after amanda had her baby we ended up sharing a room which was really nice to have some one to talk to. then the next day when we left the hospital the babies had both lost the same amount of weight which put them at 7lbs 1oz. things got even wierder the sunday after they were born the health nurse came by to weigh them and check up on us as moms and the babies wieghted the same once again. i think these two little boys were in heaven ploting this together you can just imagine what mistchef they will get into together in life.
they are both so cute and so much fun we love them both. it has been so fun to have some one to share this experince with and know that she is going through some of the same things at the same time as i am. i love you amanda and am so glad to have a sitter in law that i get along with so well. thanks
